In my last post I yelped about the need for OC/IC folk to produce our own quality material. I mentioned that we have more than enough talented people within the wider community writing, speaking, making movies, and well who knows what else, and that we should know about, and celebrate their contribution to our ever-evolving tradition. I would like to take a moment and “remind” folks about +John Plummer’s book (available via Amazon) The Many Paths of the Independent Sacramental Movement. I throw in the reminder for two reasons; firstly it was recently suggested to me that his book is very difficult to find/get, and secondly if I’m going to shout about making our voices heard – I had better point to others in the community producing quality work, otherwise I’m not serving my purpose. As a related aside – the publisher of +John’s book also does reprints of “classic” texts about the history of the movement – you can visit their catlogue by clicking here

Thanks for the ad, +Alexis! And if any of you indie folks are scribbling away, Apocryphile Press is very good to work with, and interested in manuscripts related to our movement….

Who thought the book was hard to get? It’s on amazon (all countries), bn, etc, etc. There were some delays with the first edition, but – as far as I know – everything has been running smoothly with Apocryphile. If there is a problem, let me know.
