		<description>I understand your point about Great Lent sort of &quot;taking over&quot; but, at least among the convert communities, the other 3 fasts (Advent, Theotokos &amp; APostles) get equal play and the WEd/Friday fasts as well. I think what&#039;s missing, mostly, is the connection you cite, of choosing and preparing and eating a meal. 

I&#039;m currently working on a podcast where different spiritual trads get to talk about food as, exactly, praxis.</description>
