For some bizarre reason – the hand over from Old System to new on the Theo-web projects is taking longer than with my personal sites . . . . I’m hoping that it will sift out in the next day or two.

We’ve tested the new web hosting with my personal page The Hour of Scampering and now that I’m confident I’ve done it correctly and can begin Phase II (re-design & blog integration) I can start Phase I with the Grace Catholic pages and the Indie Voices Archive site.

With the recent flood of media attention on the emerging “Fundamentalist Atheism”, and the renewed debate between faith and reason this recent New Scientist segment exploring the pros, cons, and pitfalls of reason is rather timely. Contributors include the Abp. of Canterbury, Noam Chomsky, and the artist Keith Tyson.

We are moving ISP’s.

We’ve had enough of a bad product, abysmal customer service, and a lack of attention to detail from Orange.

Soon the web pages will be up and running, and this blog will (if all goes according to plan) be better integrated into them. Which means we can return to our normal programming (grin).

I suspect that the transition will be complete within a month. Please keep in mind that I’m also trying despirately to finish the thesis and that that is taking precedence over everything at the moment (thus, the sparse postings of late).

Since the evaporation of my web sites I’ve been “challenged” to look at other options. The option provided by my ISP is unsuitable – however, I’m now looking at an option which would allow me to combine blog and web site and streamline reader’s visits.

Thank you for your patience – while this process is happening – I believe that when its over and the dust is settled that the end result will be rather nice.

Ok, so – not only have my web pages evaporated into thin ether – but now . . . the banners and some pics you “normally” see here – have too!

I’m hoping to have at least this much fixed in the next 24-48 hours. And appreciate your patience. Our battle with Orange – our “glorious” ISP is not quite over yet.

Anyone wishing to visit the Indie Voices Archive Project (which has also gone *poof* you can listen to some of the existing interviews by clicking here). As an aside – I apologise we’ve not posted a new interview in a few months – that is because I’ve been focussing on finishing my thesis. There are 6 or 10 interviews patiently sitting on the hard drive waiting to be edited and posted. This by way of saying that the project is still alive in kicking.
